FreelioPro makes invoicing simple. Create invoices tied to your projects, customize professional templates, send invoices via client portal, generate PDFs, and track payments all in one place.
Invoicing Features
Create an Invoice from Your Project
Navigate to any project detail page and click on the All Invoices button. From there, create a new invoice which will be linked to that project and inherit its currency setting. Free users can create 1 invoice per project, Pro users get unlimited invoices.
You can also access all invoices from the Earnings page.
Add Line Items & Set Amounts
Use the invoice editor to add line items. Each line item has a description, quantity, and unit price. The total is calculated automatically. Add or remove rows as needed to itemize your services.
Customize Your Invoice Template (Pro Feature)
Visit Invoice Customization to choose from 4 professionally designed templates: Creative, Minimal, Modern, and Professional. Pro users can also upload a logo, set custom brand colors, and add personalized notes to the invoice footer.
Generate PDF & Send to Client
Once your invoice is finalized, you can send it directly via the portal or generate a PDF to share with your client. The PDF includes your company details, line items, the total amount, and any custom notes. Clients can view and accept invoices directly through the Client Portal.
Note: Newly created invoices are saved as drafts. You must send the invoice for it to be visible to the client on the portal.
