Access Your Notifications
Navigate to Notifications from the sidebar or click the bell icon in your dashboard. You will see a badge showing the count of unread notifications.
Notifications are organized chronologically with the most recent at the top. Unread notifications are marked with an orange dot indicator.

Use the filter tabs at the top of the Notifications page to narrow down by type. You can view all notifications, only unread ones, or filter by specific categories.
Notification Types Explained
FreelioPro sends six types of notifications to keep you informed:
Invoice Notifications
Triggered when a client accepts an invoice or payment status changes, and as reminders: when an unpaid invoice is due within 3 days, when it is overdue, and when your client viewed it a week ago and still has not accepted it.
Asset Notifications
Triggered when a client approves an asset, requests revisions, or leaves comments.
System Notifications
Account-related alerts such as email verification, storage warnings, and security updates - and replies from our support team to your Help Centre tickets.
Announcements
Platform-wide updates about new features, maintenance, and important changes.
Project Notifications
Triggered when a project status changes, or when a step is updated.
Subscription Notifications
Triggered when a subscription status changes.
Notification Priorities
Each notification is assigned a priority level that determines its visual appearance and urgency. Higher priority notifications have more prominent styling to draw your attention.
Low
Minor updates and informational messages that do not require immediate attention.
Normal
Standard notifications for routine events like invoice acceptance or portfolio updates.
High
Important notifications that need prompt action, such as revision requests or payment issues.
Urgent
Critical notifications requiring immediate action, such as account security alerts or subscription expirations.
High and urgent priority notifications display their priority badge in the notification accordion header so you can quickly identify them in the list.
View and Manage Notifications
Click on any notification to expand it and see the full message. Each notification may include an action button to navigate directly to the relevant page (e.g., view the asset or invoice that triggered the notification).
You can mark individual notifications as read by clicking the Mark as read button, or use the Mark all as read button at the top to clear all unread notifications at once.

Notification Sources
Notifications are generated from various actions across the platform:
- Client portal activity - asset approvals, revision requests, invoice acceptance
- Project events - new assets uploaded, timeline step completions
- Invoice reminders - due soon, overdue, or viewed but not accepted
- Account events - email verification, subscription changes
- Support replies - when we answer one of your Help Centre tickets. Deleting a ticket also removes its reply notifications.
- Platform announcements - new features, scheduled maintenance
