Client portal
Give each client a private portal to follow the project, review your work, message you and see invoices, with no account needed on their end.
- Follow the project journey, step by step
- Review items, approve them or request changes
- Request changes with a note, a link and screenshots
- Message you about the project
- Download every project file at once as a ZIP
- View, accept and download invoices
Share your portal link with clients
Every project gets its own portal link and password. Find them on the project page under Client access. The password is shown once, straight after you create the project, because only a scrambled copy is stored. Copy both and send them to your client by email or any channel you trust. If you need the password again, generate a new one in the project's settings.

The portal has four sections: Project, Timeline, Messages and Invoices. The Project page opens with what needs your client right now, then where the work stands, what's next and how many invoices are waiting. Below that sit the project description and the latest items.

Review the latest workThe timeline
The Timeline page lists every step of the project in order, each with its items and what each item needs. This is where your client spends most of their time: they open an item to see it full size, then approve it or ask for changes. When several items are waiting, they can approve them together.

Clients can download everything at once
Rather than saving deliverables one file at a time, your client can take the whole project in a single click. Download all appears on the Project and Timeline pages and packages every uploaded file in the project into one ZIP.
The ZIP is built in your client's own browser and saved straight to their computer, so there is no waiting for a server and no email size limit. Files are named after the items they came from, so the ZIP arrives organised.
Only files uploaded to FreelioPro are included. Items that are external links point at storage you control elsewhere, so your client follows those links as usual.
Feedback and approval
Clients approve an item with one click, or request changes with a note, an optional link and, if you allow them, up to three screenshots. When a client gives feedback, you get a notification on your Notifications page.
Clients request changes, you answer with a new version, and they review again. Each request stays in the item's history, so nothing falls through the cracks. Approved work is final and is never replaced. Before a client attaches screenshots, the portal tells them whether those are kept, and whether earlier versions are.
Messages
Each project has one conversation between you and your client. Your client finds it under Messages in the portal; you find it on the project's Messages tab and on your Conversations page, which gathers every project's thread with unread counts. Enter sends, Shift+Enter starts a new line, and an unsent message is kept while you move around.
Could we try the logo a little larger?
Of course. A new version is up on the timeline.
Write a message… Send messageInvoices
The Invoices page lists every invoice you have sent for the project, with its state and total. The Invoices tab shows how many are waiting for your client.

Viewing and accepting an invoice
Opening an invoice shows it in your chosen template, with its line items and total. Your client can download it as a PDF and accept it to let you know it's right. Payment itself is arranged directly between you and your client; you mark it paid when it arrives.
